‘Winning Tools for Communication’ teaches participants how to use specific, practical, easy-to-use communication tools to communicate more effectively so that the message intended is received as accurately as possible by the receiver.

Participants learn how to appreciate the other party’s preferred channels of communication, and how to align expectations so that their communication is more effective. Participants also learn on how to communicate to update work progress, and to simplify complex subjects.

At the end of the training session, participants will be able to achieve the following outcomes:

• Explain the concepts, process, and practices of communication
• Determine individual preferences for appropriate communication channels for greater effectiveness
• Enhance upward and downward communication skills
• Increase communication competency level through use of suggested techniques and tools
• Communicate confidently and at ease with management and subordinates
• Apply techniques to communicate in difficult situations or during crisis
• Build harmonious relationships with superiors / peers / subordinates through use of preferred communication channels
• Communicate efficiently and effectively utilising emotional intelligence for win-win outcomes
